General Precautions
- If the stairway climber is received damaged, contact a T.G.R. service centre to have it serviced back before use.
- You can contact a T.G.R. service centre directly or a T.G.R. authorised dealer in order to received a free demonstration, at home or wherever the stairway climber will also be inspected in order to verify if it is suitable and complies with stairway climber technical features.
- When purchasing the stairway climber directly a T.G.R. authorised dealer, you will be offered by T.G.R. a free “How to operate the stairway climber” course at the end of which a certification is issued.

- This operating and maintenance manual is an manual is an integral part of the product. It should be carefully kept and handed over to the new machine owner in case the machine is resold.
- Before operating the stairway climber, verify that the two identification plates, located on the steering-wheel lower base and on the right side of the stairway climber and contact T.G.R. immediately.
- The stairway climber must be operated only in the presence of an attendant, whose name must be indicated on the “How to operate the stairway climber” certification, issued by T.G:R. authorised personnel when the machine is delivered.
- The use of the stairway climber is forbidden to attendants younger than 14 years old.
- In order to operate the stairway climber correctly the attendant should first try to operate the machine load-less.
- The attendant must wear lace-up shoes in order to avoid any dangerous interference with the tracks.
- ATTENTION! Before operating the stairway climber (stair climbing or horizontal displacement), check that the control lever (25) is lifted.
- ATTENTION! Do not operate the stairway climber by climbing up or down the stairs in a reverse sense than the one indicated in the operating instructions.
- The attendant must hold the steering-wheel keeping the stairway climber in front of himself.
- The attendant must always be positioned upstream from the machine.
- The stairway climber is designed to transport wheelchairs for disabled.
- The transport of any other item or heavy object is strictly forbidden.
- The person transported with the stairway climber must not carry any item or heavy object.
